How we see children
We have been an early childhood school for more than twelve years. Montessori education gives young children room to grow in every direction: intellectual, physical, social, emotional. Our experienced, qualified teachers do not stand at the front. They guide. They encourage. The aim is independence, and a love of learning that lasts.
Rooms are calm and ordered. Materials sit on low shelves, arranged simple to complex, so a child can choose and carry and return. Teachers watch, then show a lesson to one child or a small group. Children work at their own pace. No one is hurried. The day moves in long, unhurried stretches, with time to finish.
What you notice in practice
Teachers work at eye level with the children. They demonstrate a lesson first, then step back so the child can try it alone. If a child is struggling, a teacher offers a single question or a small hint, not the answer. Small groups mean each child gets attention without the pressure of a crowd. The child leads; the teacher follows and trusts the process.
Shelves hold one material per tray, complete and ready. Children choose, work, return. The morning is one long work cycle, not a series of bells. Snack is available when a child is hungry. Group time is short. Outside comes before the day runs out of steam.
How we work with families
At pickup, teachers tell you what your child did that day, not just how they behaved. You hear which material they chose, who they sat with, what made them laugh. If you have a question, ask at the door or send a message. We answer the same day when we can.
The first weeks are gentle. You visit with your child before the start date. We agree on shorter days at first, then lengthen them. You tell us your child's routines, what soothes them, what they eat. Teachers watch how drop-off goes and adjust. You can call at any point to check in.
