Tour the room
See the classroom your child would join. Meet the teachers who run it. Ask how the room is set up and how the day is paced. Then decide what you want to do next.
Enroll and settle in
Once you decide to enroll, complete the forms and plan a first week that suits your child's routine. New children often start with shorter days and build up. You and the teacher can shape those first days around feeding, resting and drop-off. Call (484) 268-1852 with any questions as you go.
What to have ready
Most families gather a few papers before the first day. Enrollment forms, a health form and an immunization record. Emergency contacts and the names of people allowed to pick up your child. Call us if you want to know what else to bring.
Pack a full change of clothes, labeled with your child's name, because spills and outdoor play happen. Add outdoor gear for the season: a hat, mittens or a sun hat, and shoes your child can manage. Nap items matter too, so bring what your child sleeps with at home. A small comfort object can come along for the first weeks.
Sort out the drop-off routine before the first day. Decide who picks up and add their name to your list. Think about how you want to hear about the day. Then tell your child what will happen.

What should my child bring on the first day?

What does a typical day include?
A day is built around arrival, play and learning, meals and rest, outdoor time, and pickup. We are open Mon - Fri: 7:30am - 6:00pm. Ask us how a day runs for your child's age group.
How will I know how my child is doing?
Parents usually hear about the day at pickup, when the teacher shares how your child ate, slept and played. If you drop off and someone else collects your child, ask the teacher for a quick update by phone. You can always ask a teacher a question at the door.
Do you offer part-time or flexible schedules?

What if there is no place right now?
If a place is not open for your child's age, you can ask to be told when one comes up. The school will call you when something opens, and you can decide then.
